Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
I know someone who was convicted of driving on suspended habitual offender (this was the first time they have been convicted of this crime) and was sentenced to one year suspended six months in a diversion program and three years supervised probation it has already been four months since sentencing they still yet to take them into custody and my question is in Virginia what is the maximum legal time courts, correctional facilities and or diversion program's have between sentencing and taking a party into custady? Or If any statute of limitation is set fourth for this.

No, no statute of limitations involved here in the
situation described as far as I am aware.
My advice as to the one awaiting to be taken into custody
on this matter would be to keep quiet, don't ask unnecessary
questions, and to stay out of further trouble with the law.
