Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
Is a convicted felon ever allowed to handle a working firearm, even if it is a black powder weapon, (fireable with powder and lead ball) that is used as a prop in his employement? Thanks!

Black powder firearms, i.e., those manufactured prior to year 1898(or constructed in a similar manner) may be an exception to the federal prohibition detailed at 18.U.S.C. 922(g).
