counterfiet american express checks
is turning in counterfiet american express checks to a bank a crime. i received the checks in the mail on a scam scheme.

As long as you didn't endorse the checks and attempt to receive cash from the counterfeit notes, I don't see any crime connected with merely turning them over to a bank.

If you cashed the checks the answer is yes its a crime and a federal crime.
