Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

i am going to court for a misdeamenor not seeking medical attention in a timely manner charge if i am given any time i plan to appeal i was just wondering that if i can get out on bond some how if a sentence is giving until the appeal date. I am hoping no time will b handed out because it was an accident and i have witnesses and all but i was just wondering

These are questions that should be addressed to the competent criminal defense counsel who should be representing you by now in this matter. (It's unlikely that any jail time would be imposed in a case like this one, but it would still be best, if at all possible, to be represented by an attorney.)
