co-worker threats, creeping me out
hi,
i have been working at my current job for a year now, and this one guy, who is always being loud, making noise, generally doing ''attention getting'' things, has recently started to crrep me out. he often sings loudly, making up his own lyrics to songs on the radio, which hey, it's not that big of a deal. but when he starts making up lyrics about bringing in guns to work, and shooting people, well that is indeed odd. i thought it was another ''attention getter'', until today, when he stated to me that i was ''one of the couple that he liked'', and that ''the day is coming very soon, and hopefully his aim is as bad as his singing''. when i said''i sure don't want to be around when that day comes'', he said ''well, when it's your time, it's your time''. now i am flat out freaked out, cuz this guy seemed actually decent otherwise. i mentioned this behavior once to my boss, who said ''what are we aorking at the post office?'' what is the tactful way to report such a thing? is it an anonymous letter to someone? i am going to talk to my boss again, tomorrow about todays conversation, but i doubt anything wil get done. this is bringing alot of anxiety into my world that i really don't need.

Yes, talk with your boss again, perhaps, being more explicit this time around with the details, and keep your eye on this creepy co-worker and, perhaps, what he brings to work with him in the morning.
