If you have a criminal charge in Michigan will Virginia prosecute you for it?

If someone lived in Michigan and was charged with Minor in possesion of alcohol, and was convicted of this misdemeanor, recieved a fine and probation, plus community service, then moved to Virginia without clearing this up, and paying the fines will they come and make that person pay restitution in Virginia?

No, but the Michigan court most likely would issue a summons for you to appear in court there

for violation of the conditions of your probation,

which then would be followed by a warrant for your arrest for your failure to appear and answer the summons.

However, Michigan would not be seeking your extradition on a misdemeanor warrant, but rather would allow the warrant to rest patiently in their

WALES computer system until such time that you return to Michigan and are pulled over for a minor traffic infraction, and thereupon are arrested and transported to the nearest jail.
