Criminal History from 1977
This is referring to Federal Statutes. Is there an age limit on use of a Defendant's previous crimibnal record? Ex. Person convicted in 1977 was charged with Conspiracy to Import and Traffic Herion. Can this be held against him/her in figuring Federal Sentencing Guidlines?
Thank You.

There is no statite of limitations on the use of previous convictions in the calculation of Federal Sentencing Guidelines.
For your information the same is true of Virginia State sentencing guidelines.
