Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
I do not have current charges but have been threatened with felony destruction of property. Wondering what the penalty is of this type of charge in the state of VA and how I could plea in order to not get the felony if it truly happens.

Why wonder unless this charge could come from some credible authority with
probable cause to do so such as the local prosecutor's office rather than from some irascible neighbor down the street?
