Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
My daughter was found guilty of vialotion of a court order. She was sentenced to 30 days with all but 3 suspened. She was surposed to be in jail for 3 days she couldn't handle it and she appealed the case. What is the most likely thing to happen in this case.

There is not enough informaiton here to answer your question. Do you mean this was in General District Court? How did she appeal this? Also, what kind of court order are you referring to?

If this happened at lower court and now is to be heard at circuit court, the case may go forward de novo. But I agree with prior attorney comment...I do not have enough facts.
