my daughter is on probation after serving 5 years for a felony offense. she was arrested at probation office for violation of probation on 11/20/12 and has yet to be arraigned. is there any time limit or anything concerning how long she can be incarcerated before she should be arraigned since she can't talk to a lawyer until then?

Your daughter can certainly speak with an attorney
before she's formally arraigned and should do so without
further delay.
This attorney may be able to arrange for bail (or at least
a hearing on the matter) and provide for other valuable
direction in her case.
