Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
My daughter who is 17 has been subpeoned by a defense attorney to testify in a murder trial of her boyfriend. She was not there when the murder occurred and under no terms do I want her testifying for the defense. How can I get her out of testifying?

File a motion to quash the subpoena( or hire competent criminal defense counsel to do it for you).
You should be prepared, however, for the possibility that the court will
deny the motion.
