Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
Ok. So here is the deal. My friend's neighbors have surviellence camera's on the front porch of their townhome and they have been tracking when she leaves, when she comes home and if she comes home with anyone and sending it to her landlord. There have been past times accourding to other neighbors that these people try to get renters of her townhome kicked out for things.
So. With that being said. Is that legal? It's one thing to use it for security, but to watch the video's and document someone's schedule? Creepy. There has to be something that can be done. Any advice would help and please supply a link of some sort to the law it may or may not be breaking. Thanks!

Nothing illegal in what you've described as far as I am aware.
