Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

On December 19i entered into CVS Pharmacy for a refund for an out of pocket cost for a prescription.i was told to come back in ten minutes to receive my store credit.I came back in about an hour later and got my store credit and remember i had to return baby formula that was out in my car.so,i went back out to my car and brought them in and received a store credit.Today i got a call from the local police stating the store is accusing me of stealing!i asked if i can give a written statement and watch the video and the police said no.they are stating i took the milk and brought it up to the front for a return. The police said he hasnt reviewed the footage what are my rights.

right to refuse to have further conversations with the police regarding

this matter and to hire counsel to represent you should you be charged
