Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
self defense laws
i'm taking a criminal law class in college and i'm trying to locate where virginia stands on self defense laws. could you give me some ideas? thanks.

Not sure what you mean by "where virginia stands on self defense laws." The first rule of law classes is to read everything you can (primarily statutes and case law).

After reading all the statutes, then go read all the self-defense cases (most of them are available free online). Then go teach your law professor where Virginia stands on self defense!
