Drug Charges
My granddaugters father is indicted to a grand jury for posession of, under the influence and intent to sell and manufactor drugs. He has a felony 5 on one charge and a felony U on another. He is a felon by previous charges. What does this mean? I am concerned he is (I know he does) uses around my grandaughter who is 4 and he has very scary friends.

Re: Drug Charges
A U felony simply means that the prosecutors haven't quite decided which class of felony to charge him with for the particular offense he allegedly committed, but taken all together (including his prior felony record), it all very likely means that this particular father is probably looking at doing some serious time in a DOC facility.
