Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
Drug Related
The other other day during school my friend, who's 18, and I were parked smoking marijuana. We had about half of an ounce in the car, there were undercover policemen patrolling that area that day, they came and busted us. They took every little piece of marijuna, the guts from the blunts, everything they could find. We were not arrested they just got our info and wrote a report and let us go. What my question is what might my friend be charged with, I got let off the hook since i'm a minor and have a clean record.

Any number of charges, including but not limited to possession, possession with intent to distribute, contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Sounds like you guys got a break, so be happy.
