Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
emailing obscene material to a child
My ex-husband emailed my 8 year old son a picture of a monkey sucking its own penis. Would this be considered pornographic, and can I press charges against him? Could this affect our current custody and visitation arrangement?

Re: emailing obscene material to a child
If it's happened only this one time and after your appropriate admonishment of him, it does not happen again, I would say no to both of your questions.
