Exemptions
Is there a time limit on the exemption stat. Or do i have to go to court every time i get a garnishment from the court?

Re: Exemptions
Not sure whether you're referring to the homestead exemption(which must be recorded with the court) from garnishment or a federal/state statutory exemption such as certain income such as SSI. However, in either instance, you will likely have to assert it in your defense in each case where a garnishment action is brought against you.
