Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
What can I expect when my husband and I go to court for a domestic violence charge that he was charged with against me. This is his very first run in with the law, what are the chances of him going to jail?

Not likely (jail). Most likely, upon his plea of guilty, probation with conditions such as successful completion of anger management program and suspended jail sentence.
Best for him to be represented by experienced criminal defense counsel
if at all possible.

He probably will not go to jail unless serious injury. These are some of the easiest cases to beat. He should look for attorney. Good luck. Sheryl Shane, Attorney at Law. Web: www.sherylshanelaw.com.
