Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
Expunge felon record
Is it possible to get a felony conviction from 1995 expunged (pleaded there was enough evidence to convict me....etc, can't remember what that's called). First and only crime, probation completed, fine paid. Crime occurred in PA (could I have it expunged there) although I now live in VA (a state that I understand does not expunge felon convictions_

Re: Expunge felon record
You apparently entered what's known as an Alford plea which is the same as a plea of guilty in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania which is where any action for expungement would have to take place rather than the Commonwealth of Virginia.

If the conviction was in PA, you would have to do it there.
