Re: extradition law

Initiation of extradition is up to VA. If they do it, NM will permit it, almost without question, if they dot their i/s and cross their t/s. Extradition is technical, and depends solely upon the proper paperwork being presented by VA to NM. If done, goodby NM, hello VA. Attempted crimes, if no one was hurt, are less likely to be the subject of extradition than completed crimes or those with a hurt victim.
