Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
I am facing a hearing soon where I have been charged with violation of a protective order. The order was handed down in December, 2012 and Lee County, Virginia says I violated it in 2014. They didn't even serve me with a arrest warrant until September, 2017. I never made face-to-face, phone, or e-mail contact in 2014 with the person that took the protective order in 2012. They claim I violated the protective order when I used pictures from her Facebook page on my Facebook page in 2014.
