Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
Failure to appear
I missed my original court date for a disorderly conduct charge
and now i have a new trial date i was wondering what are my possible outcomes of such a charge and can it be handeled with a cash payment

If you are innocent of the charge you
should refuse to plead guilty and proceed to trial and make the Commonwealth proves its case against you beyond reasonable doubt.
However, if in fact you are guilt(at least somewhat), then you may wish to
negotiate a plea bargain with the prosecutor before your case is called on the morning of trial.(Some sort of suspended sentence with the payment of a minimal fine might be appropriate.)
