Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

Fake Domestic Violence claim

My crazy ex girlfriend went into a rage bcuz I was leaving her, She locked and stood in front the door and called 911 with this crazy look in her eyes. She told the operator i was stealing her stuff, had scratches and that I had a gun. In desperation(to save my career and livelihood) I threw my last bag off the balcony and jumped to get away. By the time I got around to the front door, she was pulling the rest my stuff back in! The police came and I told them I was just trying to get away from a psycho. The police helped me get the rest of my things and sent me on my way. Later that day however she went to the magistrate and filed a complaint for domestic violence. Apparently she bruised herself up! Need Help I'm scared of this woman. I think I may have a warrant too. What can I do to clear my good name?

Re: Fake Domestic Violence claim

You say that you think that you may have a warrant too? Better find out for sure by calling your local law enforcement agency (police or sheriff's department),and, if confirmed, arranging to come down to surrender.

Then get a lawyer.
