Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

False official statement to Federal Police Officer

I said that I was driving in an accident report that I gave to the officer. When in fact I was not driving. How risky would it be to represent myfelf, and how much could the penalty be?

If you have to ask, you know it is too risky. Lying to the police is an offense in Texas. You need to speak with a criminal defense attorney to help you "fix" this problem.

False Reporting is a crime. I would not represent myself in such a case if I were not an attorney. In fact, I would not represent myself although I am an attorney. The courts are to be taken seriously. Be careful about purjury too.
