Felon(non-violent crime)-firearms in residence
Can a Felon (non-violent crime) petition a court in their jurisdiction to allow a firearm to be on residential premises for spousal use-protection.

Such a petition would be unlikely to succeed(in my opinion). The felon's spouse, however, should be able legally to own and possess such a weapon in the marital home for her protection without the felon incurring any violations of the law as long as he assiduously forbears from handling(possessing) the weapon in any manner whatsoever.
