Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
Felonious Daughter
Our felonious daughter has committed multiple felonies in Texas and not yet been charged. She now lives in Maryland. We have custody of her three children in Virginia and she is taking us to court to get them back. If we present the evidence of her crimes in family court in Virginia, can the family court refer her back to the criminal court for those crimes?

Yes, that could possibly occur, although there's no way to know for sure---until it happens.
