a friend has filed for a speedy trial in 2007. in fairfax co va. he has felony charges. it's past 180 days. he wants to get it disposed of. he is currently serving a twenty year sentence in md on felony charges of the same nature.he's charges in fairfax co va are weapons off hand gun viol-use, kidnapping, robbery. what should he do?

Your friend should have a public defender appointed to represent him by now, and this is the person whom he should be talking to regarding these felony charges now pending in Fairfax County.
