What is the definition of a Class U felony, and the sentencing statutes?

The six classes of felonies recognized in the Commonwealth are described in Va. Code Sec. 18.2-9.
The punishment for each of these six classes of felony is described in Va. Code Sec. 18.2-10.
As stated previously, there is no U class of felony referenced or recognized in these Virginia criminal statutes either classifying and/or describing the punishment for each class of felony in the Commonwealth.
