Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
Felony was expunged do I still list it on a request for a name change form?
If a felony was expunged from oregon over a year ago do I need to list the felony on a legal request form to change my last name in the state of virginia? My husband, children and I want to change our last name by adding one letter to our last name, changing of our last name is not to do anything illegal or to do anything wrong with the government, it's just a personal change.

Without knowing exactly how the question is worded
on your petition for a name change and the precise wording of the expungement order and any clarifying instructions that might go with it, I couldn't say.
