Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
a female testified against her husband stating he robbed a bank and took them to a gun but 10 years later told his family that he never robbed the bank, the only reason she said it was because the detective threatened to have her locked up and have her kids taken away. Now she wants to tell the truth on who really robbed the bank but she doesn't want to get in trouble. Would she get in trouble if she tells the truth?

I'd say it's probably too late at this stage in this matter for this particular female to say anything
that would now make any difference at all in her husband's case (irrespective of what she might now allege--after all these years).
