My fiance physically abused me and my roommates stood by without helping or calling the cops. Can they get in trouble for that?

Generally, no, unless they had some legal duty to aid you.

No, they had no legal duty to come to your aid so they cannot get in any trouble unless they were in some way assisting your fiance. Free non-legal advice though: that's pretty low of them, you should look for new friends.
