Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
There was a fight in our parking lot 11 years ago. In trying to protect his vehicle my husband got arrested. Later that week the apartment manager said charged were dropped. We wnt to court 3 separate times & each time we were told charged were dropped & the case was dismissed. When appying for a job my husband discovered this is on his criminal record as a failure too appear. What can we do about it?

It would appear that further investigation is required to determine whether the
FTA is legitimate or not and if not then whether it can now be expunged from your husband's record. This will likely require making a trip to the courthouse
to request to examine the archives(microfiche, likely) of the records of the court which issued this Failure to Appear.
