Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
How to file a petition
file a petition with the court which sentenced me to have all of the accumulated fines and costs forgiven or dismissed because it's been over thirty years and that I'm seeking a restoration of rights from the Governor and therefore need to be able to show that there are no fines or costs still outstanding from my case.

Obviously, if you can't do it yourself, you'll need to hire a lawyer for a few hours of his or her time to do it for you.
