How to file

I would like to know the process to file a complaint in USA with the required authorities against my estranged wife for filing false Domestic Abuse case in another Country (India) saying about the events occurred here. I only recently came to know of this case from my parents and received a copy of the same in my mother tongue. Where all of allegations can be proven wrong and incorrect, if she had decided to file the same here. Until this time I did not know, where my estranged wife was living as I till date not received any communication from her, her family or anyone with regards to her or this matter till recently. How I can go about this case, whom to file with, what evidence is required from myside. Look for your advise.

Your remedy with respect to the allegedly false criminal complaint which you say was filed against you in India would appear to lie with the appropriate Indian law enforcement authorities rather than American. It's conceivable that you might be able to initiate a civil damage claim in the U.S. against your estranged wife but if she's now living in India, it likely would be a futile exercise for a variety of reasons which I will not recount here.
