Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
I filed assault charges against a juvenile for assaulting my daughter and then they turned and filed assaulted charges against my daughter. Why do they do this and what should I do?

Probably, because you filed charges against their daughter, and now a J&DR;Court judge will have to sort out which one is really responsible (unless both are deemed culpable).
Bettter get your daughter a lawyer.
