finger printing out side

does an officer have the right to take your finger prints at your home outside by thre car and keep telling saying your not who you are, also when taking prints saying oh ya that is a nice print, then when doing a another finer say this will show who exactly who you are, also can a person turn down a Polygraph Test after they said yes?

Unless one has been formally taken into police custody(arrested), no citizen is required to submit to fingerprinting, and, even if arrested, cannot be required to take a polygraph against the person's will.

(Exception as to fingerprinting): With a valid warrant, a properly authorized police officer would have the right to have the subject of such warrant who was not in police custody submit his or her fingerprints.
