Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
I was fired from my job for excepting a prescription pill from a co-worker. I did not ask for the pill nor did I take the pill. It was dropped on my desk and I put it away and disposed of it later.
is it illegal to except a prescription pill if it is given to you?

"Illegal", no, I would think not (under the circumstances described). Against
company operating polices? Apparently, so, which is more than enough
basis in the Commonwealth for firing you.
