I am going thru a nasty divorce for 2 years now I had to make house payments on a home that i did not live in I made payments for at least fifteen months then it was signed over to my spouse,he had to refinance.I then recieved a esgrow check that i assumed was mine for i made the payments. The check came in both our names I signed the check and cashed it something I had done the whole time we were married,we are still legally married. He brought forge charges against me,for signing his name.what are me legal rights? What are my chances at fighting this in court.its a long story for one to really understand it you would have to know all the details and there is not enough space for all of it.I need to know what rights I have if any

Re: forge
Well, one of your rights is certainly the right to defend yourself against criminal charges. And, for a case like this, I would advise that you hire a defense counsel who will be able to advise you in more detail.
