Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

forgery and uttering

Charged with forgery & uttering by a woman who lied to the court denying it is her signature. Absolutely didn't write the check that she wrote to me. I cashed the check. She is now denying she wrote the check. Need to do legal research. Also had her POA and discovered she also gave another POA after me. Never notified of this.Have probono lawyer.
