Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
My friend is homeless and is the single mom of 2 young kids. Shes also a 2 time felon and is having a horrible time finding a job so she posted on craigslist looking for a real lega job to help and this weirdo responded stating hed give her 4000 for letting him tie her up and whipping her for 2 hours straight. No sex. Or anything sexual. Ive researched his number. Its a fake number through a app on google play. Shes going to meet him today. Shes a idiot and easily manipulated and excited as this money could get her and her kids off the streets and into a stable place. I dont know if im just being a paranoid friend or if it sounds sketchy or like a set up. Thoughts? Advice? Help?

Yes, I have this thought concerning the situation described: Numerous people
in recent years have been attacked, even murdered (or have simply disappeared never to be heard from again) in the course of responding to personal ads in this notorious advertising rag known as Craigslist.
