my girlfriend gave me her bank card with pin number. she asked me to use it a few times to get her money now she is telling me that if I dont do certain things for her she is going to say i stole her cardCan she do this and what can i do to protect myself

The most important thing for you to do is to try to obtain proof that she gave you permission to use the card. If both of you are in Virginia it is legal for you to record a conversation, or you can try to get her to admit the same in an email and/or text message.
The next step would be to contact the police and make a complaint of extortion/blackmail.
