Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
Grand Larceny Dismissed
In 2001 I was charged with Grand Larceny of a Barber Chair, I know its sound ridiculous, but it was merely a Fraternity prank. The charge was dismissed, but now I am completing my CPA exam and have concerns about my eligibility. Do you think something like this will prevent me from obtaining a CPA license?

Re: Grand Larceny Dismissed
If you're certain that the felony charge was actually dismissed and that you in fact were never convicted of even a reduced misdemeanor charge, then it should not be a factor in your obtaining a CPA license in the Commonwealth.
