If you were convicted, the answer is no. It is a federal crime to possess a firearm after having been convicted of a crime of domestic violence. If you received a deferred disposition wherein the charge was ultimately dismissed, then the answer is yes. As long as you are not currently under a protective order or have any other disqualifying conditions, you can legally own and possess a firearm.
If were in fact convicted, there is no process that will help you short of getting the conviction overturned, vacated and dismissed.
