Habeas Corpus
My husband filed a writ of Habeas corpus with the Attorney General on 4/24/07 The letter stated that the respondent had 60 days to respond if he does not get a response is that goo news for him

A writ of habeuus corpus would normally be filed with a court having jurisdiction to hear this type of matter and not the Attorney General. The Attorney General would be the one that normally has the 60 days to respond to the writ filed with the court.
