Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
Harassment
My ex wife and I were divorced over a year ago and I thought everything was over long ago and done with but in the last few weeks she has repeatedly called my job and talked about how we were meant to be together and that we were destined and all kinds of crazy nonsense like that.I haven'r given her any reason whatsoever to think we were going to ever get back together and in fact I am very happily remarried with 2 sons and I do not want this affecting my life for one more second.I just want to be left alone. Please tell me what I can do to hopefully get this woman to realize that I am not going to ever want to be with her again.I have told her that several times and it doesn't seem to matter.

Re: Harassment
Assuming that your former wife is not illegally stalking you nor making phone calls threatening life and/or limb, the situation which you've described is one which the law likely cannot offer a remedy for---nor should it necessarily be expected to.
