Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
Hearing inside a state correctional facility
My son was transferred to a state
correctional facility.We got to visit
him after his medical and
classification was done.we did not
hear from him for 5 days following
our visit, subsequently he called us
on the sixth day to inform us he
was in the hole and that there is a
hearing in front of a judge next
week.what does that mean? canwe
retain a lawyer to help him? What
can we do as parents, we are
totally freaked out.

Re: Hearing inside a state correctional facility
Your best approach to this situation is probably to contact the lawyer who last represented your son in the case which landed him in the state penitentiary and determine what he or she would advise in this particular circumstance.
