If @ the prelimenary hearing you were told your charges might be reduced to misdeneanors by the judge or might not and you decide to take it to a higher court Can they be reduced there?

The (presumably felony)charges could be reduced to misdemeanors in the higher(circuit) court but likely only for the same reasons that they might have been reduced in the lower court.
