Do I need to hire a lawyer?

If I am a victim of grand larceny, vandalism, and identity theft and I report this to the police, will the police prosecute the criminal, or do I need to hire a lawyer in order for this to go to court?

If your complaint is credible and has evidence to back it up, you should expect it to be criminally prosecuted by your local office of Commonwealth's Attorney.
