Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
My home was foreclosed and I was asked to leave. I had recently installed new windows, lights, toilets, etc. before I learned that my mother had taken out a personal loan and used our home as collateral, before she passed away earlier this year...before deeding the property to me. Can I take those things with me?

No, not if you want to avoid being charged with theft by the owner. (Most
of what you've described very likely are considered fixtures and are intended to go with the property.)
